A wrapped train modeled after the carriages of the Tango Express from the former Japanese National Railways era began operating on the Kyoto Tango Railway in Kyoto Prefecture on February 1, 2025. The nostalgic body color and special headmark have attracted the attention of railway enthusiasts.

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the opening of the JNR Miyazu Line, Tango Railway planned to revive the beloved green car "Kiro 28" to liven up the area along the line.
The "Kiro 28" is the green car of the "Tango" Express, which operated until 1996 as an express train connecting Kyoto with Fukuchiyama, Amino, Kinosaki, and other areas.
The revival train has been named "Miyazu-go." It is based on warm orange and cream colors, with green lines on the sides to recreate the original appearance. It is fitted with a headmark with the letters "Miyazu" and an illustration of Amanohashidate.
The train runs from Nishi-Maizuru to Toyooka, and the timetable is posted on the Tango Railway website from time to time.
