A "Concert - To the Moon" will be held at Honganji Temple in Kitadai-cho, Saga Toriimoto, Ukyo Ward, Kyoto City, from 5:00 PM on October 4, 2025, to enjoy moon-viewing and music.
This event is held annually to coincide with the Mid-Autumn Moon, and this year marks its 15th anniversary. Saxophonist Yukinaga Terasaki, who runs a saxophone school in Uji City, Kyoto Prefecture, will perform jazz classics such as "Moonlight Serenade." There will also be a chorus performance by the Honganji Temple's choir, Otani Gakuen, and a chanting performance by monks.
