The Kyoto Artistic Fireworks 2026, a fireworks display featuring a fusion of fireworks and music, will be held on June 3, 2026, at Kyoto Racecourse in Fushimi Ward, Kyoto City. Ticket applications will begin on March 6.
The Artistic Fireworks display first began at Kyoto Racecourse in 2018, and this will be its fourth time in two years. The display features fireworks illuminating the night sky in time with music from a variety of genres, with approximately 13,500 fireworks launched into the sky in one hour, viewable from the racecourse stands. This time, in addition to J-pop and rock, the display will also include international music in anticipation of visitors from abroad.
Tokubei Masuda, chairman of the event's executive committee, said, "The fireworks will blend perfectly with the music, creating a magnificent display of flowers in the night sky. We want to create an experience that transcends borders and can be enjoyed by everyone, including international visitors."
The fireworks will begin at 7:50 PM. All seats are reserved, with prices ranging from 8,000 yen for front-row seats (early bird discount) to 12,000 yen for stand seats.
