The festival is themed around contributing to the inheritance of traditional culture, environmental conservation, and reducing food loss, with crafts, food, agricultural products, and more on display.

 

The "1000'' in the name refers to the principal image of the 11-faced 1,000-handed Kannon statue. It is held on the 28th of every month. The location is in front of the Sanmon gate. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
