赤穂浪士が吉良邸に討ち入った12月14日、大石内蔵助ゆかりの京都市山科区で「山科義士まつり」が開かれた。四十七士に扮（ふん）した地元住民らが、武具を手にした勇壮な姿で師走のまちを練り歩いた。
