京都府亀岡市から京都市・嵐山地域に至る「保津川下り」が2023年7月17日、約3カ月半ぶりに運航を再開した。3月末の転覆事故直後から運休していたが、再開を待ち望んでいた観光客や市民が早速乗り込み、保津峡を巡る約16キロの船旅を楽しんだ。

On July 17, 2023, the Hozugawa River Boat Ride, which runs from Kameoka City in Kyoto Prefecture to the Arashiyama area of Kyoto City, resumed operations after an interval of three and a half months. The ferry had been suspended since the capsizing accident at the end of March, but tourists and citizens who had been eagerly awaiting its resumption immediately boarded and enjoyed the approximately 16-kilometer voyage around Hozukyo Gorge.
