祇園祭前祭の山鉾巡行が終わった翌日となる2023年7月18日、後祭の山鉾巡行（7月24日）に向けて山鉾を建てる作業が京都市中心部で始まった。

On July 18, 2023, the day after the Yamaboko Junko parade of the Gion Matsuri pre-festival ended, construction work began in the center of Kyoto city for the Yamahoko Junko parade of the Atomatsuri festival (July 24).

2023 年 7 月 18 日，即祗園祭前夕山馱子巡遊結束的第二天，京都市中心為元祭節山馱子巡遊（7 月 24 日）開始施工。
