お盆に迎えた精霊を送る「五山送り火」の一つ、大文字（京都市左京区）の火床（ひどこ）3基の土台部分が崩れていることが、2025年6月20日までに分かった。大文字保存会が確認した。

It was discovered by June 20, 2025, that the foundations of three fireplaces at Daimonji (Sakyo Ward, Kyoto City), one of the "Gozan no Okuribi" bonfires to send off the spirits of deceased who have arrived during the Obon festival, had collapsed. This was confirmed by the Daimonji Preservation Society.
