On September 20, 2025, a "Moon Viewing Tea Ceremony" was held at the Urasenke Gakuen Tea Ceremony College in Kamigyo Ward, Kyoto City. Approximately 220 high school and university students from 24 schools, mainly in Kyoto City, who are familiar with tea ceremony through club activities, were invited to enjoy a thoughtful tea ceremony while contemplating the beautiful moon floating in the clear night sky.

The event is held annually at this time of year as an opportunity to enjoy the autumn atmosphere. A scroll with the calligraphy "Autumn Moon Shososhin" by the school's founder, Master Hounsai, who passed away in August, was hung on the alcove, and a meticulous tea ceremony was demonstrated. Usucha tea was served along with "Ukishima," a sweet made by the school students that evokes the evening scenery of an autumn field.
A session was also set up where students could try their hand at making dried confectionery, tasting the sweets they had just made.
