2026年1月11日に「皇后盃　第44回全国都道府県対抗女子駅伝（全国女子駅伝）」が京都市右京区のたけびしスタジアム京都を発着する9区間、42・195kmのコースで行われた。スタジアム周辺では「カニ汁」や「かにめし」のほか、「じゃがバター」など各地の名産品を味わえる毎年恒例の「ふるさと屋台村」が開催された。

On January 11, 2026, the Empress's Cup 44th National Inter-Prefectural Women's Ekiden (National Women's Ekiden) was held on a 42.195km course with nine sections, starting and ending at Takebishi Stadium Kyoto in Ukyo Ward, Kyoto City. Around the stadium, the annual Hometown Food Stall Village was held, where people could sample local specialties such as crab soup, crab rice, and potato butter.
