京都の年の瀬の風物詩「終（しま）い天神」が2023年12月25日、京都市上京区の北野天満宮で開かれた。衣類や骨董品のほか、しめ縄飾りなどの正月用品をそろえた露店が軒を連ね、観光客や迎春準備を急ぐ人々でにぎわった。

Kyoto's end-of-year tradition, ''Shimai Tenjin(meaning the last Tenjin of the year),'' was held on December 25, 2023 at Kitano Tenmangu Shrine in Kamigyo Ward, Kyoto City. In addition to clothing and antiques, there were stalls selling New Year's supplies such as shimenawa decorations, and the area was crowded with tourists and people hurrying to prepare for Spring.
