京都府舞鶴市と北海道小樽市を結ぶ新日本海フェリー（大阪市）の新造船「けやき」の就航セレモニーが2025年11月12日、舞鶴港の船内で開かれた。舞鶴－小樽航路では21年ぶりに新しいフェリーが就航する。
「けやき」は11月14日に就航。全長199メートル、約14300トンの大型カーフェリーで、旅客定員は286人。トラック約150台、乗用車約30台を積載する。

The launch ceremony for the new ship "Keyaki," operated by Shin Nihonkai Ferry (based in Osaka), which connects Maizuru City, Kyoto Prefecture, and Otaru City, Hokkaido, was held on board at Maizuru Port on November 12, 2025. This will be the first new ferry to enter service on the Maizuru-Otaru route in 21 years.
"Keyaki" will enter service on November 14. It is a large car ferry with a total length of 199 meters, weighing approximately 14,300 tons, and has a passenger capacity of 286 people. It can carry approximately 150 trucks and 30 cars.
