2023年の「立冬」の11月8日、冬の味覚「千枚漬け」の漬け込みが最盛期を迎えた。京都市内の漬物会社が昔ながらの製法を公開し、はっぴ姿の職人たちが聖護院かぶを薄くスライスしてたるに積み重ねる様子を披露した。

On November 8th, the first day of winter in 2023, pickling season for the winter delicacy "Senmaizuke'' reached its peak. A pickle company in Kyoto city unveiled its traditional method of making pickles, showing craftsmen in happy costumes slicing Shogoin turnips into thin slices and stacking them in barrels.
