京都の花街の一つ、京都市東山区の宮川町は、建て替えを終えた宮川町歌舞練場を披露する「杮落（こけらおと）し公演」を2025年11月1日から開催する。
プログラム用の写真撮影が8月29日にあり、芸妓と舞妓たちは4年半ぶりとなる歌舞練場での公演に期待を膨らませていた。

Miyagawacho in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto City, one of Kyoto's geisha districts, will hold a "Opening Performance" to showcase the newly rebuilt Miyagawacho Kaburenjo Theater from November 1, 2025.
