京都府内北部の日本海側では、2024年1月24日の未明から雪が降り始めた。宮津市内や舞鶴市内では雪が降り積もり、道路を行き交う乗用車やトラックが徐行運転していた。京都丹後鉄道も始発から運休している。

Snow began to fall in the early hours of January 24, 2024 on the Sea of Japan side of northern Kyoto Prefecture. Snow was falling in Miyazu and Maizuru cities, and cars and trucks were driving slowly on the roads. Kyoto Tango Railway has also been suspended since its first train.
