2025年5月13日の午前10時50分ごろ、京都市下京区の東海道新幹線京都駅のホーム上に不審物があると110番があった。京都府警によると、不審物はスーツケースとみられ、危険物ではなかったという。
JR東海によると、東海道新幹線の上り線は、京都―新大阪間で一時運転を見合わせた。

At around 10:50 a.m. on May 13, 2025, a call was made to 110 reporting a suspicious object on the platform at Kyoto Station on the Tokaido Shinkansen line in Shimogyo Ward, Kyoto City. According to the Kyoto Prefectural Police, the suspicious object appeared to be a suitcase and was not a dangerous object.
According to JR Central, operations on the Tokaido Shinkansen line inbound between Kyoto and Shin-Osaka were temporarily suspended.
