2024年9月10日の午後0時10分ごろ、京都府綾部市神宮寺町上藤山の男性（75歳）方から出火し、隣接する民家2棟に延焼した。　綾部市消防本部によると、火事は午後2時5分に鎮圧したという。
京都府警綾部署によると、男性方は2人暮らし。男性は外出して無事だったが、妻と連絡が取れていないという。

At around 12:10 pm on September 10, 2024, a fire broke out at the home of a 75-year-old man in Kami-Fujiyama, Jinguuji-cho, Ayabe City, Kyoto Prefecture, and spread to two neighboring houses. According to the Ayabe City Fire Department, the fire was put out at 2:05 pm.
According to the Ayabe Police Station of the Kyoto Prefectural Police, the man lived with his wife. The man had gone out and was safe, but has not been able to contact his wife.
