800年にわたる和歌の伝統を継ぐ歌道宗家・冷泉家の歌会始が2024年1月20日、京都市上京区の冷泉家住宅で開かれた。門人たちが古式ゆかしく歌を披講し、初詠みを楽しんだ。

On January 20, 2024, the opening ceremony of the Reizei family, the head poets who carry on the 800-year tradition of waka poetry, was held at the Reizei family residence in Kamigyo Ward, Kyoto City. The disciples performed songs in an ancient style and enjoyed the first chant.
