京都市左京区の下鴨神社で2023年7月21日、境内の池に足をつけて無病息災を願う「みたらし祭（足つけ神事）」が始まった。厳しい暑さの中、家族連れらがひんやりとした池の水に足を付け、ひとときの涼を感じながら無病息災を願って献灯した。
