On December 3, 2023, at Kameoka Sports Park in Sogabe-cho, Kameoka City, Kyoto Prefecture, an illumination event called ''ILL KAME~Walking Path of Light~'' began, decorating the front of the gymnasium with LED light bulbs. Families enjoyed listening to Christmas songs and taking photos of the warm lights illuminating the winter sky.
The park's designated manager has been conducting this every year since 2020. This year, 22,000 light bulbs were installed on 11 zelkova trees. On this day, there was a lighting event, with a special display of glowing green, pink, and light blue lanterns floating in balloons, making the night sky even more gorgeous.
The lights will be lit every day from 6pm to 10pm until February 29, 2024, and seasonal songs will also be played.
