With one year left until the opening of the Osaka/Kansai Expo, illuminations have begun in the Otokuni area of Kyoto Prefecture to boost the momentum. Until late April 2024.
The Osaka-Kansai Expo Kyoto Promotion Committee, which is made up of administrative and business organizations, called for this, and various organizations, companies, and universities cooperated. It will be lit up in the Expo colors of blue and red. In the Otokuni region of Kyoto Prefecture, the test will be carried out at three locations: the water tower at the Kamiueno Water Purification Plant in Muko City, Bambio Plaza Park at the west exit of JR Nagaokakyo Station in Nagaokakyo City (and Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd.'s head office building).
At the Kamiueno Water Purification Plant, the water tower over 30 meters high is illuminated from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, creating a magical atmosphere. Until April 19th.
Bambio Square Park and Murata Manufacturing Head Office Building are open until April 21st. 6pm to 11pm.
