【Materials】 (For 2 people)
Zucchini…1/2 stick
Thinly sliced pork…200 grams
Salt and pepper…A little
Vegetable oil…Appropriate amount
Kawachi bankan(mandarin oranges) peel…Appropriate amount (6 pieces of 1cm x 3cm, and grated portion)
Cane sugar…1 tablespoon
Sake…2 tablespoons

【How to make】
①Cut the zucchini into 4cm lengths, then cut each into 6 equal pieces lengthwise.
②Peel the Kawachi bankan and prepare 6 slices of 1cm x 3cm.
③Spread out the thinly sliced pork and season with salt and pepper. Place 2 slices of ① and 1 slice of ② on each end of pork and roll them up.
④Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat, add ③ and cook, rolling halfway through, until browned.
⑤Mix the cane sugar, sake, mirin, and soy sauce, add to ④ and mix well.
⑥Place ⑤ in a plate and grate the Kawachi bankan peel on top.
【Points】
Adding the Kawachi bankan peel adds an accent to the flavor, making this a meat roll that you can enjoy along with the texture of the zucchini.
