【4K動画】お盆に迎えた先祖の霊を送る伝統行事「五山送り火」が2025年8月16日の夜に京都市内の各山で営まれるのを前に8月14日、京都市左京区の世界遺産・銀閣寺近くの八神社で大文字の護摩木の志納が始まり、市民が願い事を託した。

On August 14th, ahead of the Gozan no Okuribi, a traditional bonfire event to send off the spirits of ancestors welcomed during the Obon festival, which will be held on the night of August 16th, 2025, at various mountains in Kyoto City, donations of gomaki (sticks with large characters) began at Yagura Shrine near the Ginkakuji Temple, a World Heritage Site in Sakyo Ward, Kyoto City, and citizens entrusted their wishes to the event.
