2025年11月6日の午後4時ごろ、京都市下京区の烏丸通五条下ルの国道で、約30センチ四方のアスファルトが最大50センチの深さに陥没した。京都市上下水道局によると、道路脇の雨水を下水道管に引き込む陶製の取り付け管が破損し、周囲の土砂が下水道管に流れ込んだためとみられる。

At around 4:00 pm on November 6, 2025, a section of asphalt approximately 30 cm square collapsed to a depth of up to 50 cm on a national highway in Shimogyo Ward, Kyoto City, just off Karasuma-dori Gojo. According to the Kyoto City Waterworks Bureau, it is believed that the collapse was caused by a ceramic installation pipe that draws rainwater from the side of the road into a sewer pipe being damaged, causing surrounding soil and sand to flow into the sewer pipe.
