【4K動画】京都市内を流れる小さな河川や水路などで、少雨などの影響で流れる水が姿を消して干上がっている光景が続いている。2025年10月14日現在、京都市中京区の高瀬川と京都市左京区の白川疏水（疏水分線）で干上がっている様子が見られた。
いずれもホタルが自然繁殖しており、干上がった状態が続いていることに近隣の住民からは生息環境に与える悪影響を懸念する声も上がっている。

Small rivers and waterways flowing through Kyoto City have been drying up due to the effects of low rainfall and other factors. As of October 14, 2025, dried-up rivers were observed in the Takase River in Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto City, and the Shirakawa Canal (canal branch) in Sakyo Ward, Kyoto City.
Both are natural breeding locations for fireflies, and nearby residents have expressed concern about the negative impact that the continued dry conditions will have on their habitats.
