生活に役立つ発明や最先端技術を利用したシステム開発を高校生から大学院生が競うコンテスト「テクノ愛2025」が2025年11月23日、京都市左京区の京都大学で開かれた。
高校の部でグランプリを獲得した明治大学付属八王子高校1年の嘉手納杏果(かでな・ももか)さん(16歳)は海に漂流するマイクロプラスチックを小魚を巻き込まずに回収する装置を自作した。魚が嫌がる音と光を回収タンク内で使い、魚が自ら逃げるよう工夫し、すでに特許を得ている。
Techno Love 2025, a contest in which high school students to graduate students compete to develop systems that utilize inventions and cutting-edge technology that are useful in everyday life, was held on November 23, 2025, at Kyoto University in Sakyo Ward, Kyoto City.
Kadena Momoka (16 years old), a first-year student at Meiji University Hachioji High School, won the grand prize in the high school division, creating a device that collects microplastics floating in the ocean without entangling small fish. Her device uses sound and light, which fish dislike, inside the collection tank to encourage the fish to escape on their own, and she has already obtained a patent for it.
