祇園祭の長刀鉾の稚児と補佐役の禿が、八坂神社を参拝する「社参の儀」が2023年7月13日、京都市内中心部で行われた。稚児の瀧光翔さん（11歳）＝同志社小学校6年＝が長刀鉾会所前から白馬に乗って神社に向かい、山鉾巡行の無事を祈願した。

On July 13, 2023, the 'Shasan no Gi' ceremony was held in the center of Kyoto city, where the children of the Gion Festival naginata-boko and the assistant Tadashi visited Yasaka Shrine. Chigo Taki Mitsusho (age 11), a sixth grader at Doshisha Elementary School, rode a white horse from the front of the Naginata Hoko Kaisho to the shrine and prayed for the safety of the Yamaboko Junko.

2023年7月13日，“參拜神社的儀式”在京都市中心舉行，祗園祭薙刀坊的孩子們和助手正參拜了八坂神社。 同誌社小學六年級學生知後瀧光莊（11歲）騎著白馬從薙刀放行會社前來到神社，祈求山書純子的平安。
