京都市右京区の北嵯峨地域で、9月に刈り取りを終えた田んぼで、再びイネが成長して季節外れの「青田の風景」が広がっている。この秋の記録的な暑さが続いた影響からか生育が早く、11月中旬を迎えた今、多くで稲穂が見られるまでに成長している。残念ながら食べられるコメは収穫できないという。
