祇園祭の神輿を鴨川の水で清める神事「神輿洗い」が2023年7月10日の夜、京都市の四条大橋で行われた。新型コロナウイルス禍の影響で、四条大橋での実施は4年ぶりとなり、担ぎ手らの熱気に包まれた。

On the night of July 10, 2023, a ritual called "Mikoshi Arai" was held at Shijo Ohashi Bridge in Kyoto City to purify the portable shrines of the Gion Festival with water from the Kamo River. Due to the effects of the new coronavirus, the Shijo Ohashi Bridge was held for the first time in four years, and was filled with enthusiasm from the bearers.

2023年7月10日晚，京都市四條大橋舉行了名為“荒井神轎”的儀式，用鴨川的水淨化祗園祭的神轎。 由於新型冠狀病毒的影響，四條大橋時隔四年再次舉行，橋手們的熱情高漲。
