【4K動画】2025年の祇園祭は7月14日、前祭（さきまつり）の宵山期間に入った。京都市内中心部の四条通界わいでは、山鉾の前後を飾る駒形提灯の明かりや祇園囃子（ばやし）の音色が風情を醸し出し、祭りのムードが一気に高まった。
この日は前日までの猛暑から一転、昼前から分厚い雲が広がった。時折、小雨が降る中、提灯の柔らかな光でライトアップされた山鉾が夕闇に浮かび上がった。

The 2025 Gion Festival entered its Yoiyama period on July 14th, the evening of the Sakimatsuri (first festival). Around Shijo-dori in central Kyoto, the lights of the komagata lanterns decorating the front and back of the Yamahoko floats and the sounds of the Gion bayashi music created an atmospheric atmosphere, instantly raising the festival mood.
On this day, in stark contrast to the scorching heat of the previous day, thick clouds spread around from noon onwards. Amid occasional light rain, the Yamahoko floats, lit up by the soft light of the lanterns, emerged in the evening darkness.
