At the Taisei Kofun Group in Tango-cho, Kyotango City, Kyoto Prefecture, overlooking the Sea of Japan, the lovely white and purple flowers of the sea radish are in full bloom. Citizens and photography enthusiasts enjoy the sight of the flowers swaying in the spring breeze against the backdrop of the blue sea.

The Taisei Kofun Group has horizontal stone chambers from the late Kofun period, and from the group of tombs you can see the giant rock "Tateiwa."
Sea radish is a perennial plant of the Brassicaceae family, and grows in clusters around the area of the kofun where the stone chambers are exposed. A local citizen who came for a walk said with a smile, "When I come here, my heart is cleansed and I feel like taking a deep breath." Tourist guide Hiroaki Sugaya (80 years old) from Kyotango City, Kyoto Prefecture said, "In the past two or three years, more and more people have come to take wedding photos and videos for social media. It looks like we'll be able to enjoy it until May."
