The Kyoto International Manga and Anime Fair, one of the largest manga and anime festivals in western Japan, which began on September 20, 2025, concluded on September 21 in the Miyako Messe area of Kyoto City's Sakyo Ward. The venue was bustling with visitors, with many lining up to ride the special "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" train and take photos with the characters.

The Kyoto International Manga and Anime Fair is held annually by Kyoto City and the business community with the aim of fostering content business. This year, approximately 70 companies and organizations exhibited.

In the "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" special train corner, many fans enjoyed taking commemorative photos, thanks to the huge success of the currently-screening "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Castle Arc Chapter 1 - Akaza Returns." When the costumed characters of the main characters Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, and Inosuke appeared, visitors held up their smartphones and called out, "So cute!" and "Look this way!"
