The "Weeping Plum Garden" was developed in 2021 on a hill overlooking the city. The approximately 8,000-square-meter garden is home to approximately 250 plum trees of three varieties, with the red, pink, and white blossoms nearly in full bloom. This year, the plum blossoms began blooming in mid-February, about 10 days earlier than usual.

Looking down from above, the cascading flowers overlap one another, enveloping the area in the vibrant colors of spring. The 83-year-old head priest of Mimuroto Temple commented, "The best viewing period will continue until around March 10. We hope you will enjoy the garden as a place to relax after visiting the temple." The temple is open from 8:30 AM to 3:10 PM. An admission fee is required.
