In the Katsurazaka area of Nishikyo Ward, Kyoto City, the trees along the road are beginning to change color, pleasing the eyes of passersby.

This year, perhaps due to the abnormal weather, the leaves on the trees have fallen before they change color, and although the color is not very good, it still pleases the eyes of passersby.

Nearly 400 Japanese maple trees have been planted along the approximately 2-kilometer loop road in the Katsurazaka area. You can especially enjoy the dynamic scenery along the road, which has a cone-shaped height difference with a roundabout at the bottom, an intersection where roads intersect from all four directions and go around in one direction.
