近畿、中国、四国、九州北部の4地方では、6月に梅雨明け発表があったのは記録を取り始めた1951年以降で初めてで、平年より20～22日も早く、史上最も速い梅雨明けとなった。

This was the first time since records began being kept in 1951 that the end of the rainy season was announced in June in the four regions of Kinki, Chugoku, Shikoku, and northern Kyushu, and it was the earliest end of the rainy season on record, 20 to 22 days earlier than average.
