On April 6, 2024, the weekend when cherry blossoms reached their peak blooming in Kyoto, large numbers of tourists flocked to famous spots around the country. I was admiring the flowers in full bloom under the warm sunlight.
At the Keage Incline in Sakyo Ward, Kyoto City, the trees are in full bloom on both sides of the slope where the rails that once lifted and lowered boats from Lake Biwa Canal continue. Parents and children and couples enjoyed a leisurely stroll while taking photos.
