The Takasegawa Cherry Blossom Festival, where visitors can enjoy cherry blossoms along the Takase River, was held on April 6th and 7th at Rissei Garden Hulic Kyoto in Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto City.

Organized by an executive committee made up of the Rissei Takasegawa Hoshokai and local residents. A wooden Japanese boat called Rissei Takase-bune, which was completed last year, floated on the river, and members of the Kyoto Shinarai-gumi group, who were cleaning Kiyamachi Street, pulled the boat. Tourists who boarded the ship wearing hats enjoyed cherry blossom viewing from the boat.
