On October 13, 2024, the "NAN Bread Fes" was held on the banks of the Oi River in Yagi-cho, Nantan City, Kyoto Prefecture, where nine stores from Nantan City and Kameoka City sold their specialty breads. A wide variety of breads made with home-grown wheat and milk and eggs from Miyama Town were lined up, and many visitors purchased them.

The "Kyoto Nantan Yagi-JAM Executive Committee," a group of volunteer residents, organized the second event. The Tamba region of Kyoto Prefecture is home to many unique bakeries, from long-established stores to new stores run by immigrants. Many stores operate in the mountains, so the event is planned to help people outside the area get to know them.
Nine stores set up tents at the venue, and one popular store had a line of about 50 people waiting before it opened. Visitors toured each store and picked up bread and bagels.
"Nantan Bread Tour Maps" listing the participating stores on the day were also distributed, with the organizing committee hoping "to encourage people to visit the area." The maps will be placed at each store and roadside stations in the city in the future.
An outdoor live concert featuring musicians from Tanba was also held at the same time, drawing large crowds.
