【4K動画】お盆に迎えた先祖の精霊を送る伝統行事「五山送り火」が2025年8月16日の夜、雨が降る京都市内で行われた。山肌に揺らめく炎を市民や観光客が見上げ、戦後80年の節目に平和の尊さをかみしめながら身近な故人をしのんだ。
京都市によると、午後9時現在、遊覧目的のヘリコプターに関する目撃情報などは確認されていない。遊覧ヘリが2年続けて当夜に飛び、京都市などが運航事業者に飛行自粛を要請していた。京都府警の調べでは、この日の人出は昨年より約2万5千人少ない約2万2千人だった。

The traditional Gozan no Okuribi bonfires, a festival to send off the spirits of ancestors welcomed during Obon, were held in Kyoto City on the rainy night of August 16, 2025. Local residents and tourists gazed up at the flickering flames on the mountainside, mourning their loved ones while reflecting on the preciousness of peace on the 80th anniversary of the end of the war.
According to Kyoto City, as of 9:00 PM, there had been no confirmed sightings of sightseeing helicopters. For the second year in a row, sightseeing helicopters had flown on that night, leading Kyoto City and others to request operators to refrain from flying. According to Kyoto Prefectural Police, the number of people attending on that day was approximately 22,000, down approximately 25,000 from last year.
