An event for enthusiasts of the Mazda Carol 360, a light car manufactured during the period of high economic growth, was recently held in Kyoto. Eleven cars manufactured more than half a century ago gathered in Kyoto. They drove down the Todaiji street, their engines roaring.

According to the website of the Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo), the Mazda Carol 360 is a 360cc light passenger car that Mazda began manufacturing in 1962.
It is the first light car with four doors, and is characterized by its all-aluminum engine.
Enthusiasts gather in various places about once every six months. At the "Carol 360 Owners Meeting in Kyoto" held on May 31, 2025, 11 cars from all over the Kansai region, from Shizuoka to Ehime, gathered at a cafe in Fushimi Ward, Kyoto City.
After gathering at a cafe in Fushimi Ward, Kyoto City, the enthusiasts set off in a line. They headed to Nanzenji Temple, about 10 kilometers away.
