At Iwato Ochiba Shrine (Onoshita-cho, Kita-ku, Kyoto City) in the mountains in the northern part of Kyoto City, a large ginkgo tree in the grounds has turned yellow, attracting many tourists.

There are four ginkgo trees about 20 meters tall in the grounds of Iwato Ochiba Shrine. According to local people, the leaves turned yellow later than usual this year, but they suddenly turned yellow in late November.
