祇園祭は2023年7月21日、後祭（あとまつり）の宵山期間に入った。宵々々山のこの日、合計11基の山鉾が立つ京都市中心部では、駒形提灯の光が浮かび、訪れた観光客らがそぞろ歩きを楽しんだ。

On July 21, 2023, the Gion Festival entered the Yoiyama period of Atomatsuri. On this day of Yoiyoiyama, in the center of Kyoto city where a total of 11 floats stood, the lights of Komagata lanterns floated and tourists enjoyed strolling.
