【4K動画】京都三大祭りの一つ、葵祭（路頭の儀）が2026年5月15日、京都市内で行われた。近衛使代（このえつかいだい）と斎王代を中心とした平安装束の約500人が行列をなして進み、新緑の都大路を彩った。
葵祭は下鴨神社（京都市左京区）と上賀茂神社（京都市北区）の例祭。京都御所（京都市上京区）から両神社に向かう全長約1キロにも及ぶ行列は王朝絵巻にたとえられ、葵祭のハイライトともいわれる。

The Aoi Matsuri is the annual festival of Shimogamo Shrine (Sakyo Ward, Kyoto City) and Kamigamo Shrine (Kita Ward, Kyoto City). The procession, stretching approximately 1 kilometer from the Kyoto Imperial Palace (Kamigyo Ward, Kyoto City) to the two shrines, is likened to a picture scroll of the imperial court and is considered the highlight of the Aoi Matsuri.

아오이 축제는 시모가모 신사(교토시 사쿄구)와 카미가모 신사(교토시 기타구)의 예제. 교토고쇼(교토시 카미쿄구)에서 양 신사로 향하는 전체 길이 약 1㎞에 이르는 행렬은 왕조 그림책에 비유되고 아오이 축제의 하이라이트라고도 불린다.
