1988（昭和63）年の京都国体マスコット「未来くん」が京都市左京区静原の府道沿いに今も健在だ。ただ、現在は樹木に覆われており、府道を行き交うクルマからは、ほとんど見えない。
The 1988 Kyoto National Athletic Meet mascot "Mirai-kun" still stands along the prefectural road in Shizuhara, Sakyo Ward, Kyoto City. However, it is now covered with trees and is barely visible from cars passing by on the road.
