Light purple rhododendrons (Mitsuba azaleas) have bloomed all over the mountain. This is in Umegahata, Ukyo Ward, Kyoto City, surrounded by trees and flowing along the Kiyotaki River. Local residents of the Takao area continue to maintain the area, and every year at this time, the mountain is adorned with these beautiful flowers. They can be enjoyed even from cars passing along the Shuzan Kaido (National Route 162).
