【4K動画】44年前の京都市営地下鉄開通とともに運行を始めた初期導入の10系車両が2025年9月8日、引退の日を迎えた。ラストランの出発駅となった烏丸線の竹田駅（京都市伏見区）では、市民や鉄道ファンらが最後の役目を見守った。
10系の初期導入車両は1981年、烏丸線の北大路―京都駅間開通に合わせて、9編成が走り始めた。2021年からは順次、新型の20系車両に置き換えられ、2025年5月以降は最後の1編成だけとなっていた。

The original 10-series carriages began operating in 1981, with nine trains running to coincide with the opening of the Karasuma Line between Kitaoji and Kyoto Station. Starting in 2021, they will be gradually replaced by the new 20-series carriages, with only one final train remaining from May 2025.
