師走の南座（京都市東山区）・顔見世興行で襲名披露する歌舞伎俳優の八代目尾上菊五郎さん（48歳）、六代目菊之助さん（11歳）親子が2025年10月28日、京都市東山区の世界遺産・清水寺にある「音羽の滝」を訪れた。屋号「音羽屋」の名の由来となった地で、芸道の精進と公演の成功を誓った。

On October 28, 2025, father and son, Onoe Kikugoro VIII (48) and Kikunosuke VI (11), who will be making their name-taking debut at the Minamiza Theater (Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto City) in December, visited Otowa Waterfall at Kiyomizu-dera Temple, a World Heritage Site in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto City. At the site that gave rise to the name of their theater family, Otowaya, they vowed to devote themselves to their art and to the success of their performances.
