The trees lining the Kamo River in Kyoto's Kita Ward are beginning to change color. Zelkova, ginkgo, cherry blossoms, and Japanese maples are turning red, orange, and yellow, delighting the eyes of passersby along the riverbank.
Nutria, a designated invasive species, was also spotted in the Kamo River.
