岸本ふよさんは1911（明治44）年生まれで、存命では国内最後の明治生まれとみられる。

On September 10, 2026, Fuyo Kishimoto (114 years old)—now the oldest person in Japan—spoke with reporters, including those from the *Kyoto Shimbun*. At the special nursing home in Kyoto's Kita Ward where she resides, when a staff member asked, "Are you happy to have become the oldest person in the country?" she looked intently into the staff member's eyes and moved her mouth, appearing to try to convey something.
Born in 1911 (Meiji 44), Ms. Kishimoto is believed to be the last surviving person in Japan born during the Meiji era.

2026年9月10日，居住在京都市上京區的114歲老人岸本芙蓉接受了《京都新聞》等媒體的訪問。她被譽為日本最長壽的人。在她居住的京都市北區一家特殊養老院，當工作人員問她「您是這裡最長壽的人，感到高興嗎？」時，她直視著工作人員的眼睛，似乎想要表達什麼。
岸本芙蓉出生於1911年（明治44年），據信是日本最後一位出生於明治時代的人。

국내 최고령이 된 교토시 가미교구 기시모토 후요씨(114세)가 2026년 9월 10일 교토신문사 등 취재에 응했다. 입주하는 교토시 기타구의 특별양호노인홈에서 직원으로부터 “최고령이 된 것은 기쁘습니까”라고 말을 걸리면 직원의 눈을 제대로 바라보고 입을 움직여 뭔가를 전하고자 하는 모습을 보였다.
기시모토 후요 씨는 1911(메이지 44)년생으로, 생명에서는 국내 마지막 메이지 태생으로 보인다.
