東西の古都を走る京福電鉄（嵐電）と江ノ島電鉄（江ノ電）が今秋、姉妹提携を結んで15周年を迎えた。相互に相手方の車両の色に塗り替えた記念電車をそれぞれの路線で運行しており、嵐電沿線では江ノ電カラーを忠実に再現した「江ノ電号」が走っている。

This autumn, Keifuku Electric Railway (Arashiyama Line) and Enoshima Electric Railway (Enoden Line), which run through the ancient capitals of Japan on both sides of the Pacific coast, celebrated the 15th anniversary of their sister-rail partnership. Each company is running commemorative trains on its own lines, repainted in the colors of the other company's carriages, and along the Arashiyama Line, there is a "Enoden-go" train that faithfully reproduces the Enoden color scheme.
